    Can anyone tell me if a 1983 Evinrude 35 hp and 1987 35 hp parts interchangeable?

    Evinrude motor stuck in reverse

    Ok so I had to replace my water pump on my Evinrude 35 hp model E35RCTS. After taking the lower unit off and putting it back on when I crank it up it is stuck in reverse. I am totally lost please somebody help!
