    The engine is stamped TUFM-21? Someone over stamped the last digit, but i think it would have been a C or S, whatever that indicates. Anyway from my research this indicates 225hp Looking like a frankenstein. Any help understanding what determines the effective hp is really appreciated.

    Another clue: Upper Housing is stamped 210hp. Does this gearing determine the HP? Thanks for the help.

    I have a '72 Seabird with electric shift. The block has been replaced twice and the outdrive has been rebuilt several times. OMC did both 225hp and 245hp in that year.
