    Hi, Tried to heat up the seized coupling nut but unfortunately it moved but then broke. Good try but it was completely seized up. More regular servicing in future. Off to the service specialists to get it fixed as the gear shaft presumably has to be removed from the top of the engine…. Thanks...

    Yes sounds correct.The smaller or locking nut turns but the larger nut (about 2 cm) is not turning to disconnect the linkage.How can it be loosened? I don’t want to force it too much….. I am turning it clockwise or down as you look into the bottom of the thread. Also tried counter clockwise a bit.
