    I have a 15hp mercury with a # 1b468399 stamped 2007, but the serial number comes up as a 2006 whats up with that ?

    Hello, I have a problem,maybe..at WOT about 4900 RPM with tiller pegged all the way open(motor running perfect) I hear a ..TANG-TANG-TANG...every 2-3 seconds...when I moved the throttle off pegged about 1/8 of a turn it stopped ..back to pegged it started again It made no noticeable RPM...
