    Borg Warner velvet drive

    I have a noise in my transmission that sounds like a marble rolling around in there. I can only hear it at idle and even if I increase rpm only slightly it stops. Anyone have any ideas on weather this is a serious issue? Any thoughts on this would be helpfull as I am new to diesel engines. Thx

    Perkins 6354

    I am new to Diesel engine maintenance and am trying to do as much as I can myself. I am trying to find out how often I need to change the zincs on my engines and cooling system, and where they are all located. Being a total novice, any responses would probably be helpfull. Thx.

    Perkins 6354 surging rpm

    I have twin Perkins 6354 in my boat and one engine is surging in rpm. The first time it did this it was only once in a three hour trip. Next three hour trip it did it several times . On my last trip it has increased to every 10 minutes on the way out, and on the 5 hour trip it was every 3...
