    Mercruiser 3.0L (1992, s/n OD803211) Broken Starter Mount Bolt(s)

    Mercruiser 3.0L owners - Trying to find out why these mount bolts keep shearing. I had to replace the starter in June 2021 and have had these bolts or at least one shear off up in the engine block. Research has stated that the starter must have a forward, mount bracket (p/n 87300T or equivalent)...
