    1999 Johnson 90 Leaking from under upper mounts after replacing them.

    I managed to find a picture i took of the inner exhaust housing right after removing the powerhead. It's hard to see through all the aluminum oxide and old gasket but i recall the areas circled in red where badly pitted. I'm wondering if the water is getting by under the gasket in these spots...

    We just bought a 17' whaler with 1999 johnson 90 ocean pro. All data plates are illegible but i'm 99% sure it's an J90PLEEB and I have the original receipt for the motor so i know it's a 99. The current issue first and why i'm turning to a forum for some suggestions... I just got her started...
