    Mercruiser fuel Problem

    I have a recently overhauled mercruiser 5.0L EFI it runs well until about 2500rpm then as i increase throttle the rpm drops and black smoke comes out exhaust and smell of fuel increases... I have recently drained tank and removed water and it was running fine then suddenly started doing it...
