    Oil Crusader 8.1

    I use to use Shell Rotella 15w-40 for all my oil changes. However, I now see that Shell Rotella is for diesel engines only and does not meet the API specs for gas engines . What is a good alternative oil to use ?

    Manifold Question

    Riser Pass Thru Plate

    Hello, I have twin 8.1's with fresh water heated risers. There are 2 metal plates on each riser, a pass thru and a blocking plate. I understand the need for the blocking plate but not the pass thru plate. Is the pass thru plate necessary and can just a gasket be placed there instead ? Thank You...
