    1963 Evinrude 18hp overheating

    I seem to have a water flow issue with my 18hp fasttwin. New impeller, checked twice. New thermostat. I have warm water out the exhaust port. Not sure whats going on as it is still overheating. Any help appreciated, Thanks

    1963 Evinrude prop shaft oil sead

    Hello from a newbie. Ordered a lower unit seal kit for my 1963 Evinrude 18hp. The prop shaft oil seal does not make contact with the shaft. The outside diameter fits properly but the rubber seal portion does not. I assume it should fit snug on the shaft. I got two seals with the kit and they...
