    Thank you for the suggestion. I will try that. It only goes up a little bit each time so there is a make/break connection happening somewhere.

    The trim/tilt system is intermittently raising up the engine by itself about every second or two. The switches seem to work - can tilt up and down with the switches but it keeps tilting up by itself. Had to disconnect the battery connections to the engine to stop the tilt system. This was...
