    Will a Merc 500 50hp lower unit fit a 1989 50hp?

    50 hp lower unit shift problems

    Lower unit will not engage into reverse and will only engage into forward with increased rpm which cause hard shift. This is not a shift cable adjustment issue. Any help here?
