    Head gasket blown?

    My son has a 89 bayliner with a ford 2.3 motor with a carburetor. It overheated than ran normal, overheated, etc. Brought it to a shop and took care of the problem. Ran okay afterward as long as you SLOWLY accelerated to top speed. Had it looked at again with no luck so after taking it out again...
