    86...ish 800 stringer outdrive

    Hi, I recently rebuilt the upper housing on my 800 outdrive, reassembled it and tried to put it back on my boat (86 Tempest, 5 litre Chev). The drive will not extend down fully and near as I can tell, the ball gears interfere with each other and prevent the drive from locking into the holes...
