    trying to rebuild water puimp on 1991 90hp yamaha

    I am trying to replace the impeller on a 1991 90hp yamaha tlrq model.got the manual but cant seem to locate where to separate the shift lever.HELP Ican feel an area down inside but shifting to reverse still doesnt access it.
