    Is there a site I can go to an Is there a site I can go to and enter my model and serial number and find out what year my motor is?

    Hydroelectric shift remote

    1972 65 hp johnson 3 cyl 2 str 1972 65 hp johnson 3 cyl 2 stroke. When the engine is running you push the throttle into forward or reverse and the engine just revs up and its still in neutral. Would this be a broken part in the shifter or is my problem back in the engine somewhere???

    "I just rebuilt my carb and wa "I just rebuilt my carb and was trying to start it. I couldn't get it started, but it was pretty cold out. It was leaking gas out of the front of the carb for a second after I tried to start it. Is that normal????"
