    Had exact same issue with a 2016 DF225 - turned out to be bad High pressure pump in VST - check VST Tank drain (left side front of engine) and see if you have water in it since you bypassed filter. There is a small mesh filter on bottom of High pressure pump inside that can easily get clogged...
