    I finally got Mercruiser 5.0 MPI running perfectly and after teaching son how to wakeboard, I hit an underwater obstruction-maybe concrete?? and it started making a slight knock while in gear when puttin the boat back on the trailer. Once out of the water, there was visible damage to the 14x19...

    🎶My ole boat finally running good🎵🥁 She jumped out the hole like never before! Distributor cap and rotor plus the plugs got her running like a spotted ape! I couldn’t find new wires but the old ones looked pretty good, and i was tooo impatient to wait, and she preformed better than it I ever...

    Thanks Friend! That’s exactly what I did. Parts were about how I expected after 20yrs of use. Not quite finished yet but here’s a few photos of old parts.

    Welp I changed plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor. That may have been issue with cap. Its /slightly/ corroded. I haven’t had a chance to test fuel pressure at rail yet. I guess that’ll be tomorrow’s project along with getting those panels back in place-(the worst part of this project so...

    I did clean the flame arrestor. It was dirty full od sut and hair and dirt. I was sure that was going to fix the issue to no avail.
