    Mercury 15hp outboard 1990 model 2stroke - shifter problems

    Hi there, i am in need of some help if anyone can help! i replaced the impeller all good, but when i reattatched the gearbox the lever would not allow me to put it in reverse or forward it felt like it was jammed. could the shifter be around the wrong way? PLEASE HELP! Thanks. Sean.
