    Evinrude power tilt and trim rebuild

    I have a 1993 Evinrude 150hp model ve150gletg. I ordered a seal kit from marine engine web site for the power tilt and trim. my question is, for the tilt rod threads the book calls for Evinrude/Johnson Locquic primer and Evinrude/Johnson Nut Lock. is there a substitute for these products?
