    1989 mercury wont engage in forward gear and grinds

    1989 mercury outboard engine was running erratically and eventually the engine would rev up and prop would not spin. so I took it out the water noticed that the prop was moving up and down if I tugged on it. so I replaced the prop along with the prop sleeve because the prop sleeve was destroyed...
