    I'm going to have to put power tilt on at least one of these motors, if not both. I'm 68 and these motors are heavy putting in the the lock pin. the 16 foot starcraft jupiter has 2 batteries. So, if I find a good mechanic, is it possible to add power tilt (only) no real need for trim.

    Thanks R, but this lever seems to not want to move. It feels like its fixed in position. I know it works b/c previous owner had the cover off in front of me.

    I've never owned an outboard motor. The lock lever doesn't want to move at all. how does it operate; does it unscrew? Its ready to go in the water finally. Certainly appreciate some help. Thanks. (motor is 1969, in beauty condition)

    Hello all: I just acquired a 1969 starcraft Jupiter with 2 1969 evinrude big twin motors. In a box of parts there are pints of evinrude brand TC-W oil from the 70's maybe. Are they still safe to use? Thanks for any input.
