My 1995 115 merc (oil injected) was having issues going above 3300 RPM. On the last day after I checked coils, it was ok up to 4000rpm. above those RPMs It was sounding very rough kind of a knocking-ish sound...
So i'm going to go through my fuel system and plan to rebuild the accelerator pump, and the main fuel pump. I believe my fuel pressure is on the low side, just because the way the engine is performing.

I bought a new Sierra 18-5186 Ignition Coil, and i checked the resistance between the spark-plug and the terminal (pos and neg) and it is out of specs at 240ohms. (the book says 900 to 1100 ohms)... So i ordered another coil Sierra 18-5186 coil and same thing 253 ohms.

There's a lot going on in the throttle linkage. Looks like 2 control arms. 1 for timing advance and 1 for carbs. I see what looks to be 3 stop screws and 1 idle screw. It also has the cable adjustment.
