    I can’t remember if I disconnected the battery or not putting on the rectifier. Now I did disconnect the battery when I did the starter and starter solenoid. Thank you for any help.

    I replaced my rectifier and tach started working and it started charging again. It worked for 4 times out. We only take it out on Saturday and just for a couple hours.
