    tohatsu 5 hp motor. will sputter if held at wide open

    I have replaced the spark plug, rebuild the carburetor. Doesn't mean I did it right. However it doesn't run any differently than before I rebuilt it. Tonight however it would run and then pick up speed to full throttle. Sounded good then would go back to sputtering, than quickly clear up...
