    Tohatsu md50b2, converting from short to longshaft.

    I have a '15' md50b2 that I need to convert from short to long shaft. I compiled part numbers using a new long drive shaft case. My question is if I can use one of the "spacers" tohatsu shows in the parts lists saving me labor and money.
