    9.8 merc

    Bought a 1984(i think) merc 9.8 started up fine with choke pulled out-after running for a minute pushed choke in -engine bogged out-restarted it ,it ran (trolling speed) played with choke got engine to rev way up but continued to bog out at higher speed-think old owner played with carb???-at low...
