    2001 BF75 hp runs on 3 cylinders at idle 4th picks up when throttling up

    my 2001 BF75 spits and sputters at idle, but when I throttle up it seems to run fine. I removed and cleaned the carbs in an ultrasonic cleaner. the #1 cylinder is not firing until i throttle up. seems to be getting fuel and fire @ idle, compression is even across all cylinders @ 175-180...

    Sacrificial Anodes

    How often should anodes on my How often should anodes on my bf75 be replaced? they still seem to be in good shape but they are 8 yrs. old. my motor is a 2000 yr. model. I use it equally in fresh and salt water. When not in use it stays in the shed at home (a trailered boat)

    2000 75 hp ports on motor housing

    "next to the peehole are 2 add "next to the peehole are 2 additional ports, What are they for? they're not mentioned in the owners manual, some type of crankcase vent?"
