    Lower unit interchange V6

    I was oiut today doing some fine tuning on the carbs and my counter lower unit decided to ventilate forward gear. The motor is 98 175 and I found another lower from a 99 200. All the info i can find points to the fact they should interchange....any reason why not? Are there different gear ratios...

    Anyone know the difference between the 150 and 175 60 degree carbs? Are the bodies and main stuff the same? I have 175s but I can buy a couple sets of carbs off an unknown hp motor. Assuming i'm not lucky and theyre from a 150 what would i need to convert them to 175 spec carbs? Pics of carbs...
