    1993 740 front bearing noise/rattle in certian RPM band

    At idle a hear a slight squeak. When i throttle up to take off around 1500-2000 RPMs it turns in to a loud rattle coming from what appears to be the lower crank pulley where the sea water pump is (i believe). It sounds like a bearing beginning to come apart. Question: is a bearing rattle...
