    The rise and fall of the tide isn’t a big deal just it’s easier to haul it out and then have no worries or tending the boat while not in use. Thanks for the pictures and info. I was talking to a Honda dealer this afternoon and they have thermostats in stock 60 degress ones

    From what I read stock was 172 and they recommended a 160. My boat will be used as a pleasure craft and thats what it was before. I will haul it out after every use and flush the engine. We have large rise and fall tides here 25-29 ft

    I have owned outboards but not Honda. I believe mine is a 2000. The owner said the last time he had it at a dealer they said it had 240 hrs. Not sure if this is correct. It has a new water pump and all oils have been changed. What thermostat are you running ?

    I’m in Nova Scotia to. I live in digby actually. I just got the boat and motor. The guy I bought it from says it has no known issues. I am just trying to find out if it has had the powerhead upgrade done or not. So far it has been a challenge finding this info out

    Not sure if anyone can answer this question but how do I no if my powerhead has been changed. I just bought the boat and it has a bf130a. Frame # is BZBE-1102299 and the power head has a # BEBE- 1011229. This was a USA motor I’m thinking and I’m located in Canada can anyone help ?
