    Mercury serial number?

    I've got an 04 pontoon with the original 04 mercury 75hp 4stroke engine. The serial number is missing from.the motor or at least its not on the transom mount where I believe it should be. Would It be somewhere else possibly? My new insurance company won't insure it without the number. What...
