    Have you checked your wiring connections, not the battery but in the line from the battery.

    I own an Haswing VenturaT 5.0 electric outboard motor (not a trolling motor) and the other day it was running at full speed in reverse, which it has done many times backing away from the dock, and it just quit and hasn't started up since.     When it is at full throttle it is louder than a bear with it's tail in a trap. Is there anything other than insulating the cover that can tone it down. Does anyone know what the four screw holes on the front of the carburetor are for? Is there something like an air cleaner that I can add on that...
