    temp sender

    anyone know if there is a adjustable temp sending unit for a vintage 2 stroke. eng is RKL-24, (62 40hp seahorse electromatic) gauge is a Faria GP9454, sender is F90405, problem is there unit is a flat mount but the casting of the head leaves 140 thousandths gap when mounted. need to close that...

    popin outa gear

    RKL-24 = 62 40hp electramatic. at WOT it 'pops outa gear' i put it in neutral an back in gear its good for a bit but seems to be getting worse. reverse seems to be fine. now it needs fixin, starting disassembly for inspection, ive got you guys and the seloc manual, what am i lookin for? thanks...

    idle issue

    RKL-24, a 1962 Johnson 40hp, excellent cond, everything is new except engine internals, starts instantly, runs great, but, when in gear (idle in the marina) or neutral it will seem to load up and die, running premium fuel, Amsoil Marine HP oil NGK plugs one step up in heat from stock, any ideas...

    RKL-24 (62 Johnson 40hp) Excellant cond. hasn't run since 89 so I recond everything except pistons rings (88psi comp).
