    Hi, Has anyone done it yet? I have mercury 75 elpt, 4 stroke, 2003 and i would like to have a bit more power. I was thinking to get carbs from merc 90, but if the engines are the same, why not yamaha 100? Many thanks

    I have tryed to measure output voltage on blck/wht and blck/orng wire, but with multimeter is imposibile. I think I need an ocsiliscope to se peak voltage, because its duration. Ground wire goes with this two mentioned wire? If so, its fine. Battery was fully charges so I did not consirn that...

    Is it possible that i am having this problems because of bad stator? I measured 1.4ohm insted of 0.7ohm on all wires (like manual suggest). I know 1 Ohm is almost nothing.     We are tallking about 5° off timing. No, gaps are fine. Actualy boat wasnt able to go above sometimes 2200, sometimes 4000rpm. So I cleaned carbs. Before cleaning I thought sparks were fine, checked it and at that time they were sparking.Problem is, that as soon I hit wave and boat shakes it...

    Not a problem, carbs are pickig fuel very nice. Checked it visualy from intake side. Also they were cleaned and reasembled correctly.
