    You have to take the foot off and put water in the water pipe to the engine that way you will know if it has a scale plug, it should be getting enough flow out the outlet otherwise it needs a descaler cleaning.

    Greetings to you all and I want answers to the problem I have with a mercury 90hp 2stroke engine which idles erratically at 1200-1300 rpm and does not go down with any adjustment, carburetors were cleaned, compression is 140-140-145 psi, timing is good and revs normally with no problem in sailing.
