    I have a new to me 1988 Johnson 28 spl and it always starts right up and I have it where it generally idles pretty well but at a little over idle it will run but miss like rrrrrrrrrrrrr miss rrrrrrrrrrrr miss rrrrrrrrrrrr miss and eventually die unless I give it more throttle.
