    Honda BF75 "Making Oil" – Need Help with Thermostat in Cold Climate

    Reading this, I'm wondering if because your water is so much colder, wouldn't it be more prudent to put a much lower temp thermostat in? Being that it seems that your engine isn't heating the water fast enough to keep the thermostat open?
