    Volvo Penta outdrive gasket or no

    I'm a little confused myself. I have the Volvo Penta Sx drive. I pulled it from boat and it appears there was no gasket. I purchased a "donor boat" and when I pulled that drive I found the same thing - Nothing. I have the new o- ring but I am hesitant to put it back together without more input...
