I double checked the boat wiring, plus simulated switch function by applying applicable jumpers on new motor connector. Get same results.
Checking continuity from motor connector to control replays the signal that activates the starter solenoid is coming out of the ECU (my older motor the...
Thanks for the replies.
Running to a dealer is the last desperate action since trailering a 25 Grady white requires some skill plus trailer needs work to get it road worthy.
As for power I think that is good since I can crank it over when I apply power to solenoid with wire removed. I may have...
So new motor never run.
Wired it up (had to buy adapter cable to compensate for old circular connector t the new square one)
Turned on ignition switch heard the 2 beeps oil and water temp LED lit for a bit (however the MIL nor Battery lights can on at any time). Checked wires seem okay.
Heard...
Sorry for not responding sooner.
As for Pressure relief valve basically took spring portion off and sandwiched 2 washers with a pop rivet. Kept the rubber portion to maintain a seal.
I did see a little improvement, not enough to write home about!
As for forcing water into thermostat holes. The...
On theBF150 the Exhaust sensor at rear top side of exhaust manifold, near O2 Sensor.
Cylinder Head and Cylinder Block on top of motor where big hose is connected.
Case Temp sensor on starboard side of engine in area where the oil filter and oil sensor are located.
I'll see if I see any water...
I was trying to determine rotation of the 2 engines. I thought Counter rotation engine was on Starboard, but I was corrected that it is on the Port side engine with both props spinning outwards from center line of boat.
If I was going to buy a new engine to on starboard, I needed to be sure...
Bottom-line
Tested both engines with Dr H and Thermocouples in exhaust water output and water output from combined Cylinder Head/Block. In around 155F reading from thermocouple and Dr H reports 158F
Engine alarms and subsequently shuts down. So, both engines computers are responding the same...

And I thought they were rotating inwards. So they are suppose to be outwards. So now I have to look at gear box for shaft groove.
Which direction is best Inward or Outwards?
