    1994 Johnson 60hp shift shaft

    I just recently rebuilt the water pum on my 1994 60 hp johnson. While removing the lower unit the shift shaft may have moved. I also forgot what gear i had it in prior to removing it. 2 questions anyone know the length of the shift shaft and what should i do as far as what gear i should put it...
