    Thanks for the info. I put a new switch in and it fired right up. Not going to celebrate until it fires up tomorrow morning. Fingers crossed!

    1981 Viking Deck boat. At first start-up it will start but when I release the key it stops like I shut it off. This will go on for 15-30 mins and then stay running then start and run fine for the rest of the day. New plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Carb was rebuilt last year before I got the boat...
