    Mariner 1988 40 hp ELO Info

    "I'm looking at a 1988 Mariner Outboard (40ELO 6E9 L). S/N: 430298. Can anyone tell me if this is a Yamaha built Mariner? Also, the ignition key for the controls is missing. Is it as simple as just replacing the ignition cylinder? Many thanks"
