    water pump torque specs ?

    I have a 1999 merc 200 efi , I am replacing the water pump. can anyone tell me the correct tightness of the bolts? I have done it wrong twice too tight and then apparently too loose. There has got to be a better way than to just guess thanks frank.

    I have a 1999 Mercury 200 efi I checked the left head gasket and need to reassemble it. The head has 30 ft lbs cast in it but that just does not seem right, I checked the torque before I disassembled it and it was 100 ft lbs. That seems more right but I can't get over the casting marks. Can...
