Have a 96 150 XRI EFI and was told the water sensor could be bad. Is the red light supposed to be on or off when everything is good? Tried searching internet but can’t seem to find anything on it. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!
Hello, I was looking to repower my 95 Ranger 488vs. Right now it has a 150 horse 96 150 EFI XRI. That motor weighs around 407 lbs. It is rated for a 200 horse motor. Wanted to see if anyone could help me with options. I have (according to the mechanic a bad oil sensor that you can’t get anymore)...
Alarm goes off as soon as you start the motor till on a plane and goes away and may chirp occasionally until speed is dropped then it goes back to constant alarm. Marina’s where packed this year and couldn’t get it in to have them put a scan tool on it. Thanks for any info!!
First time here and first time with a motor this size few different things going on, but as for the prop. I researched and found it called for a 14x19 prop but at 3/4 throttle I am at my rpm limit for the motor. It’s on a 95 Ranger Comanche 20’ long. Do I change the prop and if so which way do I...
