    Prop seems to be slipping .Had prop re-Hubbard still slips. Pulled lower unit. No damage or sign of.

    1996 mariner magnum 40 hp seems as the prop hub has slipped got new prop same problem acts as if it goes out of gear .What could it be ? Also checked lower unit No damage to gears. Still acts as if it is slipping when you accelerate engine Please help any ideas would be appreciated

    CDI stator problems & CDI trouble shooting and checking

    Can anyone post instructions for checking the cdi stator on a 2 cyl 55 hp mariner with an ohm meter and the CDI box. This motor only runs on # 2 cyl but every few seconds the #1 cyl will kick in momentarily Has compression Gas Spark spark may be weak any help THANKS:(

    Won't run on #1 cylinder gets gas and spark

    I have a 55 hp mariner Japan made it won't run on #1 cyl gets gas & spark Compression is 95 lbs both cyls sometimes it sounds like is running on both cyls for a split second carbs are clean any suggestions? Could it be CDI or stator
