    Problem with motor

    "Switched a john boat 40 hp &# "Switched a john boat 40 hp (J40ECCS) to a pontoon boat which had a 35 hp johnson. Switched shifting cables, adjusted as the same as the old motor. Starts and idles great but will not open wide open. Need advice where to start and where to look?"
