    Hard to shift into gear.

    I have a 96' Chapparal with a 5.7l and a Bravo 3 drive. I have replaced both cables with little improvement. There was some changes to clutches and shifting shafts I believe, not sure when this happened and what # drives the change affected . Drive has a OF number. What else could be haunting...

    Bravo 3 Hard shift.

    I have a 96'Chapparal with a efi 5.7l and a Bravo 3 drive.Problem is a hard shift from foward to reverse. I have replaced both cables with very little improvement.What do I need to look at inside the drive that would cause this shifting problem?Does engine need to be running when shifting.
