    From what I've learned, the 5.0 is not available. I did find a complete used engine for $10k; no. A 5.7 option requires the right 5.7. Something about the cam position sensor mounting is required and probably more. Insight on this would be appreciated. And there's the reflash. I've not talked...

    1st post! Looking at a boat with a frozen engine, as in frozen water jacket; it needs a block. Having a real hard time finding one for 2009-ish. It's a total deal breaker if the blocks are hard to get i.e. spendy. I'm also looking at a 5.7 upgrade but that seems even more complicated. The 5.0...
