    I bought a used CD pack on Ebay for a reasonable price. I now have spark on all cylinders. Put it in the water and it’s running great! Thanks to all for the suggestions and sharing of knowledge.

    I tested the trigger. Ohms are good, and I swapped each pair of wires to a known good coil/cylinder and each combo had spark. I also verified all coils are good by doing a similar test.     None of the trigger wires are broken as far as I can tell. When testing across the trigger wire sets I have my meter set to ohms on the 200 range. The reading is 550 between sets.

    I installed a new stator from CDI. I now get a dva reading of around 400 volts when testing the blue and yellow wires from the stator. Unfortunately, still no spark on the top cylinder.

    Thanks for the reply. Sorry it took a while but I ordered and received my DVA adapter. The procedure on outboardignition.com states “stator reads 680-800 ohms, DVA 180V or more from blue to yellow.” I don’t see a blue wire coming from the stator. What I do have are Brown w/ Blue stripe, and...
